Lance Armstrong turns down 'Dancing with the Stars'

Armstrong turns down reality show

Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong has reportedly turned down the chance to appear on reality show Dancing with the Stars.

The 41-year-old, who admitted in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that he doped throughout his career earlier this month, was offered a place on the new ABC series, despite his fall from grace.

"Lance has been offered the show each and every year since its inception," a source said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "Although flattered he has passed on their generous offers."

Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and issued with a lifetime ban.
