Muhammad Ali gloves sold at auction

The gloves that Muhammad Ali wore during his 1971 fight against Joe Frazier have been sold for $388,375 (£230,500) at an auction in America.

The bout was dubbed the "Fight of the Century" and saw Frazier defeat Ali to become the undisputed world heavyweight champion.

The item was purchased by an anonymous bidder at the auction house in Cleveland.

The same auctioneers previously sold another pair of Ali's gloves for $836,500 (£496,500).
