Police try to question Aaron Hernandez over homicide?

New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez is reportedly wanted by police for questioning regarding a homicide near his home in North Attleboro.

According to SI.com, the tight end is not being regarded as a suspect, but a vehicle registered in his name is said to be a vital piece of evidence in the investigation.

It has been claimed by ABC News that Hernadez has not been cooperative with the authorities, who are planning to issue a warrant to search his property.

Patriots spokesman Stacey James told the news channel: "I am aware of the reports but I do not anticipate that we will be commenting publicly during an ongoing police investigation."

Police launched an investigation after a body was found at an address in North Attleboro.
