Hernandez 'to be sent to maximum security prison'

Former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez will reportedly be sent to one of the most high-tech maximum security prisons in the United States after being found guilty of first-degree murder.

The 25-year-old was given the verdict on Wednesday in relation to the death of Odin Lloyd, whose body contained six bullet wounds when he was found in an industrial estate in June 2013.

According to TMZ, Hernandez will eventually be sent to the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts, where they have 366 security cameras in use 24/7.

It is believed that prisoners are only allowed to wear white trainers in order to avoid gang colours, and there is a strict rule that pictures of naked women should not be displayed in their cells.
