Hernandez charged with witness intimidation

Former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez has reportedly been charged with witness intimidation after allegedly shooting a man in the face back in February 2013.

The 25-year-old was convicted of first-degree murder last month in relation to the death of Odin Lloyd.

The victim was killed by six gunshots and his body was found in an industrial estate in June 2013.

Four months prior to the murder, near Riviera Beach in Florida, Hernandez is alleged to have shot Alexander Bradley, who is believed to be a witness in relation to the homicides of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado.

According to CNN, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office has confirmed that Hernandez has been charged with witness intimidation.

Bradley initially filed a lawsuit in June 2013, but according to reports, it was not put through as he claimed at the time that he was not aware of who shot him.
