Super Bowl champ Tom Brady 'earns 90% less money than wife Gisele'

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady reportedly earns 90% less than his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen.

The NFL star is regarded as one of the greatest passers in the history of the sport after he guided his team to a record fourth Super Bowl triumph on Sunday.

Despite being the highest-paid NFL player and earning just over £100m in his career so far, his Brazilian wife is believed to be soaring ahead of him in the financial stakes.

According to Eurosport, Forbes magazine claimed that Bundchen pocketed £31m from June 2013 and June 2014 alone and has been tipped to become the first billionaire model after signing a £166m contract with underwear brand Under Armour.

For eight consecutive years, Bundchen has been the world's highest-paid model.
