Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini had to rush home to get his passport after he forgot to take it to the airport prior to the team's flight to Germany.
The former Premier League champions will take on Borussia Monchengladbach in their Champions League group clash this evening.
Pellegrini realised once he got off the team coach at Manchester Airport that he had brought the wrong passport with him.
After a quick dash back to his home in Hale, Cheshire, Pellegrini returned to the airport with the correct documents.
When asked about the mishap in yesterday's press conference, the Chilean coach said: "It is not important. I have two passports and I brought the wrong passport."
City failed to get off the mark in their opening group game earlier this month as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Juventus.
