US broadcasters plan 'Stevie Cam' for Steven Gerrard's MLS debut

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard will reportedly be tracked by a 'Stevie Cam' for American television during his MLS debut.

American television networks have reportedly planned to include a 'Stevie Cam' in their coverage of Steven Gerrard's first MLS appearance for Los Angeles Galaxy.

The former Liverpool captain is expected to make his first league appearance for his new side when Galaxy host San Jose Earthquakes in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to the Daily Mail, Gerrard will be tracked by one camera for the entirety of the game to allow the team's fans to follow his every move during the derby match.

Gerrard has already made two appearances for Galaxy in cup matches.
