Los Angeles Galaxy striker Robbie Keane's image replaces David Beckham's on the back of buses in the city.

An image of Los Angeles Galaxy striker Robbie Keane has been emblazoned on buses in the city.

The 32-year-old has replaced David Beckham as poster boy following the former England international's move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Republic of Ireland international is being used to promote the Major League Soccer side in LA by appearing on the back of buses, according to the Irish Independent.

Keane has netted 18 goals in 32 games for Galaxy since he arrived in 2011.
