Beckham's £13.3m sponsorship earnings revealed

LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham earned £13.3m from sponsorship deals last year, according to his latest accounts.

The 37-year-old former Manchester United and Real Madrid star took home more than £36,000 a day for endorsing brands such as Armani, Adidas, Samsung and Diet Coke in 2011.

Beckham's company Footwork Productions, which manages his work and image rights, earned a total of £15.2m last year.

The former England international also makes millions every year through a joint firm with his wife and Spice Girls band member Victoria that collects money from their perfume ranges and contracts with clothes chain H&M.
