David Beckham delighted to be involved Pride of Britain awards

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has claimed that it is "always amazing" to be involved in the Pride of Britain awards.

The former England captain was in attendance at the ceremony in London to celebrate members of the public who have carried out extraordinary acts of bravery.

"The winners are always amazing, particularly the little children," the Belfast Telegraph quotes Beckham as saying.

Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley was also in attendance at the ceremony.
