Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been fined £1,000 after he failed to identify the driver of his Aston Martin when it was stopped by police in October last year.
The vehicle was pulled over by officers just 24 hours after the Blues' relinquished their lead to draw 1-1 with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
According to Get West London, Staines Magistrates ordered the 28-year-old, who lives in Upper Belgrave Street, Knightsbridge, to also pay a £100 victim surcharge and costs of £85 by Friday, June 5.
The former Arsenal captain, who also received six points on his licence, was not present in court.
