Barcelona's Gerard Pique 'helps victim following road accident'

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique recently rushed to the aid of a man after he got injured as a result of a road accident.

The man, reported to be Frans Aviles, was believed to have been lying in the road with a broken leg after he collided with a motorbike.

According to Eurosport, Pique noticed the accident occur and waited with the victim until he was taken to hospital.

Later, Mr Aviles reportedly tweeted Pique saying: "Thank your for your [help] in the accident today. Fractured fibula and back home!"

The collision occurred on the streets of Barcelona.
