Arsenal announce that a fan has been arrested and charged with a public order offence for throwing a missile during the North London derby.

A supporter, believed to be an Arsenal fan, has been arrested for throwing a missile during the North London derby last Sunday.

The individual has been charged with a public order offence by the Metropolitan Police following the incident, which took place during Spurs' 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane.

Arsenal have announced on their official website that if found guilty, the supporter will be given a lengthy ban from the Emirates.

The individual in question will return to Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on April 12.
