Neville to remain with England squad

England head coach Tracey Neville will remain with the national team's World Cup squad following the death of her father, Neville Neville.

The 38-year-old will stay in Australia until the tournament concludes on August 16.

"Our immediate thoughts are with Tracey and the Neville family and we please ask that the privacy of the family is respected at this time," said England Netball in a statement.

"Tracey has chosen to remain with the England team for the remainder of the World Cup and has the full support from everyone at England Netball."

England, who opened their campaign with a 60-19 win over Scotland in Pool B, are considered medal contenders this year.

Neville Neville, who was also the father of former Manchester United duo Gary and Phil, passed away at a hospital in Sydney after taking ill while visiting Australia to support his daughter at the World Cup.
