Marquez takes positives from tough start

Moto3 champion Alex Marquez has admitted that it has been a "difficult" transition to Moto2, but insists that he is taking positives from his campaign so far.

The Spaniard, who is the younger brother of MotoGP champion Marc Marquez, has just 30 points and resides 18th in the standings.

"At first it was difficult, but overall it's positive," Crash.net quotes Marquez as saying. "Moto2 is a new category for me and, after becoming Moto3 World Champion with Team Estrella Galicia, we have started a new journey and we are working very hard to try to take the positives from difficult situations."

Marquez is 149 points adrift of leader Johann Zarco.
