Marco Simoncelli's body arrives in Italy

The body of Moto GP rider Marco Simoncelli has arrived in his native Italy following his death while competing in Malaysia on Sunday morning.

Simoncelli's father Paolo and fellow rider and compatriot Valentino Rossi were on the flight that landed in Rome earlier today.

A public viewing of the 24-year-old's body has been planned for tomorrow afternoon.

His funeral is expected to take place in his hometown, Coriano, on Thursday.
