Marc Marquez wins German MotoGP

Marc Marquez has won his second MotoGP of the season to close the gap on championship leader Valentino Rossi.

Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa finished second with Rossi completing the podium in third.

"From the beginning I felt good and then when I had the gap I tried to manage it," Marquez told reporters. "I'm happy because during this weekend we were completely first and it's been a long time since I did that."

Rossi is currently 13 points ahead of teammate Jorge Lorenzo in the race for the Championship.
