Anthony Davidson crashes heavily at Le Mans

British driver Anthony Davidson has been taken to hospital as a precaution after a heavy crash during the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race.

Davidson is said to be suffering from shock and back pains, according to Supersport.com

Davidson's Toyota slammed into a Ferrari, flying through the air before meeting the barriers.

Toyota have said that Davidson is walking and talking normally but was taken to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.
