GB coach "proud" of third-place finish

Great Britain's hockey head coach Bobby Crutchley has expressed his pride after the men's team sealed a third-place finish in the World League tournament in Belgium.

Alastair Brogdon, Chris Griffiths, Ashley Jackson, Adam Dixon and Barry Middleton scored in a 5-1 triumph over India in the playoff match at the weekend.

"It was a very good performance," BBC Sport quotes Crutchley as saying. "Considering it's the last game of a really tough tournament, to play with that intensity and control the game like that is very good. I'm proud of the players. It's nice to finish with a big win and it's our best display in a long time."

The result means Great Britain have officially qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
