Team GB score late goal to draw with South Africa

GB score late goal for hockey draw

Team GB have drawn 2-2 with South Africa in the men's hockey tournament.

Team GB took the lead through an Ashley Jackson penalty after 13 minutes and they held onto that lead until half-time.

However, South Africa looked the stronger after the break and scored goals through Austin Smith and Jonathan Robinson to take a 2-1 lead.

Time was running out for Team GB to net an egualiser but with three minutes remaining they levelled the match thanks to Jackson's second goal, with help from the video replay system. Despite a late push, the match finished a draw.
