Team GB miss out on hockey bronze

Great Britain men's hockey team have missed out on an Olympic bronze after losing 3-1 to Australia.

Australia took the lead in the 16th minute through Simon Orchard but GB drew level shortly after when Iain Lewers scored off a penalty corner.

In spite of vocal support from the crowd, Great Britain were unable to take control of the match and Jamie Dwyer extended Australia's lead in the 47th minute.

Kieran Govers added a third for Australia in the 57th minute which ultimately killed off Britain's hopes.

In spite of a battling performance for Team GB the match finished 3-1.
