Wheelchair basketballer Simon Munn picked for seventh Paralympic Games

Great Britain wheelchair basketballer Simon Munn has been selected to represent his country at a seventh Paralympic Games after the squad was announced on Monday.

The 48-year-old, who made his debut in Barcelona in 1992, won a silver medal in Atlanta in 1996 and bronzes at Athens in 2004 and in Beijing four years later.

In addition, Munn is one of six players who were part of the London 2012 squad and only just missed out on a medal after finishing fourth.

The veteran joins cyclist Dame Sarah Storey as the most experienced GB athlete in Rio.
