Chris Froome wins stage 15 of Tour de France

Britain's Chris Froome has won stage 15 of the Tour de France to extend his overall race lead to four minutes and 14 seconds.

The 28-year-old was thoroughly dominant as he powered up Mont Ventoux, finishing the stage 29 seconds ahead of runners-up Nairo Quintana.

Dutchman Bauke Mollema finished one minute and 46 seconds behind Froome in third position.

He remains in second place overall, while Alberto Contador, who is four minutes and 25 seconds off the lead, is third.
