Police raid Cofidis hotel

Rooms belonging to members of the Cofidis team competing at this year's Tour de France have been raided by police.

It has since been reported that French rider Remy Di Gregorio has been taken in for questioning by authorities as a result of the raid.

Two further unnamed men have also been taken in for questioning.

It is believed that all three have been arrested for the alleged trafficking of performance-enhancing drugs.

All the riders at the event are currently on a rest day.
