Storey to compete at seventh Paralympics

Dame Sarah Storey will compete in her seventh Paralympic Games this summer after being named in Britain's cycling lineup for Rio 2016.

The 38-year-old, who has won 11 golds, eight silvers and three bronze medals in her career, is named among the ParalympicsGB team, which consists of 11 riders and four pilots.

"I'm delighted to be picked for my seventh Paralympic Games," said Storey. "It's just as exciting to be named in the team today as it was for my first Games in Barcelona back in 1992.

"London 2012 was incredible - to win four gold medals at a home Games was a once in a lifetime experience but I can't wait to get to Rio and hopefully enjoy some more success alongside my ParalympicsGB teammates."

Jody Cundy, David Stone and Neil Fachie, all of whom have featured in multiple Paralympic Games, are also named in the team.
