Storey wins her fourth gold in C4-5 road race

Sarah Storey has won gold in the C4-5 road race by a huge margin to add to her three previous golds this week.

Storey destroyed the field at every timer to take a gold medal, which is her fourth of the Paralympics so far.

It is also her 11th gold of her career and she goes level with Tanni Grey-Thompson as Britain's most successful female Paralympian.

Storey left the field behind, managing two split times of under 12 minutes to take the win with her time of 1:40:36.

The silver medal winner Anna Harkowska of Poland was more than seven minutes behind Storey, crossing the line with 1:47:58.

Bronze went to Kelly Crowley of United States, who was just behind Harkowska with 1:48:34.
