Britain's Darren Kenny takes bronze in C3 individual pursuit

Darren Kenny has claimed bronze in the first medal race in the men's C3 individual pursuit.

The initial favourite for the gold medal showed his class by smashing the world record on the way to his bronze medal, setting a time of 3:35.257.

Kenny went out strongly and had a commanding three-second lead by the first marker and kept up the pace to beat David Nicholas of Australia.
