Great Britain's Mark Colbourne picks up silver in C1 time trial

Great Britain's Mark Colbourne gets his hands on a silver medal in the men's C1 time trial.

Great Britain's cyclist Mark Colbourne has added to his Paralympic medal collection by winning silver in the men's individual C1 time trial.

Colbourne, who won a gold and silver medal at the velodrome last week, managed to surge to the podium at Brands Hatch after securing a time of 25:29.37.

The British Paralympian, who broke his back in 2009, couldn't do enough to rival Michael Teuber of Germany, who finished the race in 25:16.43.

Li Zhang Yu of China also made his way onto the podium by securing a bronze-worthy time of 26:23.11.

Meanwhile, Colbourne's compatriots Shaun McKeown and Jon-Allan Butterworth failed to medal in their respective time trial events.
