Team GB's Shanaze Reade qualifies as fifth seed for women's BMX semi-finals

Team GB's Shanaze Reade has qualified as fifth seed for the women's BMX semi-finals.

Reade produced an impressive time of 39.368s in the seeding run.

Australia's Caroline Buchanan headed the standings with a time of 38.434s.

The seeding run was marred by a crash from the USA's Brooke Crain, but she was able to walk away relatively unharmed from the incident.

The semi-finals will take place on Friday.
