Coach Sam Yates insists that British cyclist Bradley Wiggins can get even better.

One of Bradley Wiggins's coaches believes that there are still some improvements that the Great British cyclist Bradley Wiggins can make to his performance.

Having won the Tour de France last month, Wiggins rounded off a positive summer on a personal level by winning a gold medal in the Olympic time trial this afternoon.

However, coach Sam Yates has warned Wiggins's rivals that 32-year-old can still get even better.

"Brad has had a fantastic year and is unbeaten in time trails," Yates told BBC Sport. "It was continuation of a theme. Today Bradley delivered that gold medal. At the end he won by quite some distance.

"He's a fantastic althlete, with seven medals won at Olympics. He's moving on up and we've not seen the best of him yet."

Wiggins is now the most successful British competitor at the Games in terms of medals won.
