Neil Fachie, Craig MacLean seal gold for Scotland

Neil Fachie and Craig Maclean strike gold in the men's tandem Para-cycling 1,000m time trial to give Scotland their 11th medal of the Commonwealth Games.

Host nation Scotland have won another gold medal at the Commonwealth Games after Neil Fachie and Craig MacLean triumphed in their 1,000m time trial for the men's tandem Para-cycling event.

The duo raised the roof off of the Chris Hoy Velodrome by posting a winning time of 1:02.096 to seal their nation's sixth gold medal at the Games, beating Australia and Wales respectively.

Welsh pair Matt Ellis and Leuan Williams (1:04.095) collect a bronze for their efforts, meaning that Wales now have three medals overall.

Meanwhile, Aussie's Kieran Modra and Jason Niblett [1:02.244] claim silver to give Australia their 16th medal, two shy of leaders England in the table.
