Rogers banned after positive drugs test

Former Team Sky rider Michael Rogers has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for the banned anabolic agent clenbuterol.

The Australian's urine sample was collected during the Japan Cup Cycle Road Race on October 20, 2013.

A statement from Union Cycliste Internationale said that Rogers has the right to request an analysis of his B sample.

Rogers, 33, left Team Sky at the end of the 2012 season to move to Team Saxo-Tinkoff.
