Chris Froome has revealed that it is "an honour" to sign a new contract with Team Sky.
Froome stormed to the 2013 Tour de France title last summer, and the Kenya-born rider has admitted that he is delighted to remain with his current team.
The 28-year-old told Sky Sports News: "This has been an incredible year for me, and I am delighted to finish it off by signing a new contract with Team Sky.
"I've been with the team since the start, and this is the right place for me to grow as a rider.
"It's impossible to win races without the right team beside you, and I would like to thank everyone at the team for their continued support. It's an honour to be a Team Sky rider, and I hope to play a big part of its success for years to come."
Team Sky have also renewed the contracts of nine other members of their team, while also announcing the signing of Spanish cyclist Mikel Nieve.
