Europcar to withdraw sponsorship in 2015

Europcar has confirmed that it will withdraw its sponsorship of the French cycling team from the end of next season.

The Paris-based car rental company has sponsored Jean-Rene Bernaudeau's squad since 2011.

"We wanted to communicate our decision as soon as possible to the team to facilitate the search for a new partner," Europcar's director of international communications, Nathalie Poujol, said in a statement.

Team Europcar has previously been named Brioches La Boulangere, Bonjour, Bouygues Telecom, and Bbox Bouygues Telecom.
