Armstrong attorney slams doping report

Lance Armstrong's attorney has slammed the United States Anti-Doping Agency's report accusing the American of being part of the "the most sophisticated doping programme" in cycling history.

Eleven of Armstrong's former teammates were revealed to have testified against him during the USADA's investigation, which was published in a 1,000-page report on Wednesday.

"The alleged 'reasoned decision' from USADA will be a one-sided hatchet job - a taxpayer-funded tabloid piece rehashing old, disproved, unreliable allegations based largely on axe-grinders, serial perjurers, coerced testimony, sweetheart deals and threat-induced stories," said Tim Herman in a statement.

Two of Armstrong's former teammates have since admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs during their careers.
