Great Britain won their opening match in the women's beach volleyball competition with a spirited comeback.
The team of Zara Dampney and Shauna Mullin lost the first set to the Canadian team 21-17, but fought back with a series of superb shots.
Mullin produced a fearsome smash to secure the second set 21-14 and send the game into a dramatic finale.
Canada put real pressure on the British pair in the third set but Dampney and Mullin held firm, winning a tight decider 15-13.
Team GB will now play their second group match on Tuesday against Italy hoping to earn a place in the knockout stages.
