Miami Heat win back-to-back NBA Championships

Miami Heat have beaten the San Antonio Spurs to be crowned NBA champions for the second year in a row.

With the seven-game series tied at three apiece, the home fans roared Erik Spoelstra's side on to a 95-88 victory at the American Airlines Arena.

LeBron James scored 37 points, including a vital jump shot at the end, and grabbed 12 rebounds on his way to picking up the MVP award, also for a second successive year.

It is the first time that the Spurs have lost in five appearances in the finals.
