John Wall: 'I'll use USA Basketball omission as motivation'

John Wall claims that he will use the disappointment of being left out of the USA Basketball's national team pool as motivation.

John Wall has insisted that he will use his omission from the USA Basketball's national team pool as motivation.

The Washington Wizards point guard was tipped by many to be included in the group of 28 players last week, but claims that he will move on quickly from the disappointment.

"I just use it as more motivation," Wall told the Washington Post. "It's nothing I could do. It's nothing I can say, and I don't want nobody to babysit me or try to make it work for me.

"They made their list, they made their decision and that's what they're happy with, and I just have to look past that."

Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard were the seven point guards selected.
