NBA season in doubt

The National Basketball Association season has been thrown into doubt after players rejected the league's latest offer on revenue-sharing.

No play has been possible so far this campaign as the row between both parties continues to escalate.

The latest proposal called for a 50-50 division of basketball-related income and proposed a 72-game season beginning on Thursday, December 15.

NBA players have now begun the process of disbanding the union.
