Paula Radcliffe hails "magician" Mo Farah

Marathon world record holder Paula Radcliffe calls Mo Farah a "magician" following his 5,000m win at the World Athletics Championships.

Paula Radcliffe has described Mo Farah as a "magician" after he successfully defended his 5,000m title at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing.

The double Olympic champion claimed his second gold of the meeting after also retaining his 10,000m title, giving him five wins during the last three editions of the world championships.

Radcliffe, who was the marathon world champion in 2005, told BBC Sport: "Mo is like a magician and he puts a spell over the whole field. He is playing mind games, he plays mind games at the start when he is jogging to get the water.

"He messes with them and goes to the front and controls the race but the whole time his mind is working and is ready to react whenever anyone might try to upset his plan. There is nothing they can do."

Radcliffe also has a silver medal from the 1999 world championships in the 10,000m.
