Tiffany Porter expecting "special things" in Beijing

Tiffany Porter claims that she is expecting "special things" in the 100m hurdles at the World Athletics Championships.

Great Britain's Tiffany Porter has claimed that she is expecting "special things" as she prepares to compete at her third World Athletics Championships.

Heading into the meeting in Beijing looking to add to the bronze medal she won in the 100m hurdles in Moscow two years ago, Porter claims that her form is enough to suggest that she can compete with the world's best once again.

"I'm fit, healthy and confident, more so than I've ever been before so I think some very special things are in store," the 27-year-old told the British Athletics website. "I've been doing this for a few years, so hopefully this will be a good chance for me."

The 100m hurdles heats take place on Thursday, before the semi-finals and final a day later.
