Mo Farah dominates 5,000m race at Anniversary Games

Great Britain's Mo Farah has continued his preparations for Rio 2016 by winning the men's 5,000m at the Anniversary Games in London.

The 33-year-old's time of 12 minutes and 59.29s at the Olympic Stadium is the fastest of 2016 so far in the event.

Farah, an Olympic gold medallist on home soil four years ago in both the 5,000m and 10,000m, dominated the race in what was his final outing before heading to Brazil.

Andrew Butchart took second place, finishing a full 15 seconds behind his compatriot, while United States competitor Bernard Lagat claimed third.
