Shelly Woods and Jade Jones miss out in T54 1,500m

Shelly Woods and Jade Jones have missed out on a medal in the T54 1,500m final.

United States's Tatyana McFadden was tactically perfect in what was a slow race, saving enough energy to stay in front on the home straight to finish with 3:36.42.

Edith Wolf of Switzerland split the two Americans, her 3:36.78 good enough to take silver ahead of Shirley Reilly who took bronze with 3:37.03.

Woods could only manage sixth, while Jones crossed the line in 10th.
