David Devine pips bronze in T12 800m

David Devine has taken bronze in the men's T12 800m final after a storming finish around the last bend.

Devine looked to be out of contention around the last lap but he did not give up as Lazaro Rashid slowed, with Devine pipping bronze on the line.

The favourite Abderrahim Zhiou managed to take the gold with a time of 1:56.42, just ahead of Russian Egor Sharov.

Then came Devine, pipping Rashid with his time of 1:58.72.
