Great Britain's David Omoregie has set his sights on achieving success at this year's European Under-23 Championships.
The 19-year-old was in action this afternoon at the Sainsbury's Indoor Grand Prix in Birmingham, where he finished fifth in the men's 60m hurdles with a time of 7.78 seconds.
That was not enough for him to book a place in the final, but instead the Welshman is turning his attention to claiming a medal in Estonia this July.
"There's the European Under-23 Championships this year and that's the main goal. I think I'm ranked second at the moment so my eyes are fixed on that," he told Sports Mole.
"I put pressure on myself and always expect the best. I want to do well there and I want to train hard for that. A medal is my aim."
Omoregie finished third in the 110m hurdles at the World Junior Championships last year.
