Disability sprinter Ben Rushgrove thinks that spectators will be amazing by the performance of all the athletes in London's Paralympic Games.

British disability sprinter Ben Rushgrove believes that spectators will be "flabbergasted" by the performances of the athletes at the Paralympics.

The Games get underway today after they were officially marked by last night's opening ceremony, and Rushgrove is confident that ParalympicsGB can bring home medals for the nation.

"We will do Britain proud," thisisbathnews.com quotes Rushgrove as saying. "Anybody watching will not be able to not be amazed.

"They will be flabbergasted by the speeds and difficulties these people have, and the way they overcome them."

There are 28 medals overall on offer today in the track cycling, shooting, judo, powerlifting and swimming.
