Warburton out of men's 800m

Team GB's Gareth Warburton exited the men's 800m at the London Olympics in the heats this morning.

The 30-year-old looked to be in prime position as he came down the back straight.

However, he appeared to tire on the final bend and could only manage to finish in fifth position with a time of 1:46.97.

The race was won by Abubaker Kaki in 1.45.51, while Timothy Kitum trailed in second.

Abdulaziz Ladan Mohammed claimed the final automatic qualifying spot in third.
