Levine misses out on 400m final spot

Great Britain's Nigel Levine has failed to qualify for the final of the men's 400m final.

The top two from each semi-final gain automatic qualification through to tomorrow's final, but Levine could only finish sixth in a time of 45.64 seconds.

World champion Kirani James won the race in 44.59 seconds, with Chris Brown taking second spot.

South Africa's Oscar Pistorius, known as the blade runner, finished in last spot.
