Hannah England moves into 1500m semi-final

Team GB's Hannah England qualified for the semi-finals of the women's 1500m this morning.

The 25-year-old, who has recently recovered from injury, appeared to have been boxed in as the field moved down the box straight.

However, she managed to free herself on the final bend, putting herself into fourth position in the process.

She eventually finished in fifth with a time of 4:05.73.

The race was won by Abeba Aregawi, while Tatyana Tomashova, Maryam Yusuf Jamal, Hellen Onsando Obiri and Hilary Stellingwerff also progressed through.
